The Airport Parkway Project will start at I-55 in the west and extend to the east toward the Airport. As illustrated in the figure below, the Project corridor consists of three segments as follows:

• West Segment from I-55 to MS 468 (Flowood Dr.)
• East Segment from MS 468 to MS 475
• North Segment from proposed West Rankin Parkway to MS 25 (Lakeland Dr.).

In total, the Airport Parkway Project will provide a new crossing of the Pearl River and provide needed relief for commuter and truck traffic along MS 25, MS 468, US 80 and I-20. It will also improve safety conditions along these roadways.
